LIGHTWAVE SENIOR HIGH

Lightwave is a high school youth group, and a ministry of LaGrange Bible Church in LaGrange, Illinois. Our mission is to love God and love people by being the light of the world.

We do this by allowing Christ to transform us from those who are filled with darkness and shadows into authentic and truth-seeking Christ-followers. As he changes us, we join him in bringing light to the darkness of this world.

To accomplish this mission, we provide a wide variety of activities and opportunities for teens. Anyone who is of high school age is welcome to come to any of our activities.

Sunday mornings we have Flood from 9:45-10:45am.
Sunday nights we have The Well from 7-9pm.
Wednesday nights we have Tea Practice from 7-9pm during the first semester. Second semester will begin our Wednesday night program called "Overflow" which will be from 7-9pm also.

Flood
On Sunday mornings from 9:45-10:45am we meet in the Lightwave room of LGBC. Here we engage with God through worship and the studying of His Word. As we study what the true marks of a disciple are we will also have discussions following each lesson.

The Well
The Well happens each Sunday night from 7-9pm in the Cafe area and Lightwave room of LaGrange Bible Church.

Each night at The Well will include games, worship with live music, and a deeper discussion in our small groups based on what we have been learning in Flood. Everyone is welcome!

Overflow
Overflow is our Wednesday night event that will be happening during the Spring semester from 7-9pm in the Lightwave room. Each week we'll be focusing on serving others, whether its here or in another country. Loving and serving others should be out of the Overflow of God's work in our lives. This will also be a training time for this summer's mission trip. This is new for Lightwave, but don't miss out on the joy of learning how to be used by God in others' lives!
